Information on How to Join the Great Lakes Rangers
Information on How to Join the Rangers - In order to join the GLR, you MUST either attend a major event where the team is present, or be nominated by a regional commander. If you attend an event, you will be evaluated by the team. If found deserving, you will be nominated by one of the team.
- Once nominated, you will be a “recruit” until the end of Tippmann World Challenge. After TWC the GLR have an annual vote to determine who is inducted to full Ranger status.
- All members of the GLR are expected to follow the Creed both on the field and off. Membership in the team is subject to the rules of the Creed. Violation of these rules can result in rejection from the team.
- All members of the GLR are expected to represent the team, home forums, sponsors, and our marker. While team members are allowed to own and shoot other markers, at TWC you are expected to carry a Tippmann.
- To maintain tour membership, you are expected to play at least two games a year with the team.
- Sportsmanship is the ONLY rule on the field. If you cheat, wipe, bonus-ball, play-on, get into fights, throw a cursing fit, throw your gear around, or otherwise make a fool of yourself, you will be asked to leave the team.
- More rules and regs can be added at any additional time and team members are expected to follow those as well.
